Just playing............

No sewing yesterday.  Last week I took all of the batik orphan blocks I have been finding and put them up on my design wall.  I know there are still some more hidden in boxes and piles so I'll wait until I find all of them before I make anything out of them.

This is so cool. I took all my orphan blocks and did the same thing. The quilt is not really organized in any way, but I love that I know all the quilts that I made out of the blocks. This is going to look great finished!

that could turn into an interesting looking quilt if you decide to use them all in a quilt.

Te pinks and the lime greens really pop out of this collection. Interesting assortment but still pleasing to the eye.

Wow! They look terrific! Can't wait until you find the rest and put them all together. I started making a quilt using all of my orphan blocks and it turned into a nightmare!

Orphan blocks... I just smile at all the names that come from you or the quilting world.

I know you will find a great home for them all together.

I can see all sorts of items made out of these orphans. I have no doubt you do too!

Hi Wanda,
Great orphans! I can see a purply swirl with touches of green pulling it together, from the blocks you've displayed so far. The batiks play together well.

You could call it your "orphanage quilt", raffle it off and donate the funds to your favorite charity. Or not.

Are you gearing up for that big winter storm headed our way? I think we're both going to get walloped this time.
Keep warm.

These blocks are looking like they were (almost) made to go together! Once you've joined them they WILL look like that!
