No sewing yesterday

No picture today, does that ever seem strange.  My dad called yesterday and said he needed to go to the hospital. He had a cough for about a week that wasn't related to a cold and it had gotten worse.  We went to the emergency room and 3 hours later they decided to admit him.  We saw the Dr. last night and he thinks it is a slight case of pneumonia.  Dad's oxygen level was down because he wasn't breathing deeply because it caused him to cough so he's on oxygen too.  The Dr. thinks he will be there 3 days at least.  I spent almost 6 hours at the hospital with him yesterday so no sewing took place here.

The art quilters are coming today so I have one more batch of cookies to bake and I'll be ready for them.

I'm glad that he had the sense to call you and hopefully he is now on the road to recovery. I hope you will be able to enjoy the art quilters group tonight.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Miss your blog, as I read it daily; but, family does come first. Will pray for you both today as you come to mind.

I hope your father will be well soon. It is always worrisome when our elderly parents are not feeling well so I know what you are going through.
Have fun with your art quilt group, sounds like you need some "fun" time.

Best of luck to your dad. At least he's smart enough to realize there's something wrong.

He'll be back home in no time. *S*
