Busy day
I spent a couple hours in the garage yesterday getting ready for the double bed that I am storing until late summer. I put away the snow shovels and filled a couple containers with the ice melter from an open bag. I hope I don't have to look at them again until next winter. We got the twin bed moved to Dad's apartment too so I went back and put the sheets on it.
I have been cutting a couple kits for Bento Box. Several people requested that I teach it so it is on my schedule in April at the sewing machine store. At least one person wants a kit and I figured I will make another from that pattern too in my favorite fabrics. I will probably add a few batiks into the mix yet.

After seeing you fabric strips and the combinations you have been putting together for your different quilts I am buying the wrong fabrics. I tend to steer to country looks and maybe I need more color in my life. Will have to take a step back and consider a change. Chris
Yay, for no snow shovels! But you just never know with Mother Nature. The kits you are cutting look fabulous. Great choices of fabric.
I would really like to know which method you use for your Bento Box. Do you make the block to cut in four or make the pieces individually?.. or do you have a nifty 'nother' way... hope you don't mind me asking...
I love the colors that u use, i'm super obcessed with them :D
I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you will not need those snow shovels anymore in the upcoming week - after all it is April, what snow would come would surely melt quickly now.

When I read your post I had forgotten about your father's bed and thought you meant a flower bed. I was going to ask if you'd come help with mine.
I had just decided last night to make a Bento Box out of scraps as a donation quilt.
Happy quilting.
I hope that the snow eqipment is gone for the year now too.
Beautiful chooses as always.
Ohhhh those colors just make me smile, so pretty! Your student is going to love you for this kit!
You have been a busy girl Wanda.
I love your "Bento Box" kits. Do you send overseas??
I love those colours you've chosen -- lovely bright, cheerful colours! Make me want to pull brights from my stash and start something! :-)
Love your fabrics for the Bento Box. Wish I lived closer so I could take that class at your sewing machine store. How fun!
The colours in the kits are gorgeous! I too am working with Kaffe fassett fabrics at the moment. I've been hoarding some for ages, and now have the perfect project.
