Errand day

I try to get all of my errands done on one day of the week so I can stay home the rest of the days.  I had to get Dad to sign his tax return yesterday so I did the errands too.

Last night I figured out the measurements for the Bento Box pattern when using a 2.5" strip instead of the 3" called for in the pattern.  I had some strips left over from the kits I cut for the last class so I used them up and made 9 blocks for a baby quilt.  It will be 36" square so I'll probably add a border.  I didn't get any more triangles cut for the zig zag yesterday so I'll get back to that today.

The Bento Box is wonderful! Such a wonderful pattern to whip up! Looking forward to seeing more zig zag.

What a wonderful block and use of your remnants.

love the quilt. we are opposites - I need to get out almost every day or I go crazy staying at home all day - maybe it is because I feel more isolated living in the country? I don't know but also know that it is not safe to walk on this country road with no shoulder to speak of and lumber trucks going by now and then and stray wild dogs so go to a fitness center in town instead.

I really like your take on the bento box quilt. They've always seemed sort of boring to me, but not this one!

Bento Box is so charming. Any mom will love to cuddle lil baby in it. Love the pattern.

Letter 'K' is as sweet. I had forgotten about your alphabet quilt. Always a treat to see it growing.

There is a lucky baby out there- and the other nice thing is that the quilt is not "baby-ish". It will be suitable for the baby for several years.

Cute fabrics. Such a practical use of leftover strips. The Bento Box is another on my endless list of "want to make" quilts.

That little quilt looks awesome! I love the op-art look with the little prints playing off each other.
