I sewed the last 5 pairs of strips and made 10 new blocks. I have enough blocks now to make it 8 x 9 = 64" x 72" or 7 x 10 = 56" x 80". An awkward rectangular shape or a quilt long enough for a tall person. Once I make that decision I can proceed.
Meanwhile I have over 20 blocks made for the other half of the quilt.
Have you ever heard of Fairy Tale Brownies? I hadn't until a box of them arrived on my front porch, an early Christmas present from a sweet friend.
There was one more flavor, walnut, that didn't get into the photo. This is such a neat idea to have individually wrapped brownies. I can even pronounce the names all of the ingredients and they are ones I have heard of, no long strange names. I decided to put some in the freezer to pull out in the coming months when I need that chocolate fix.

I've never heard of Fairy Tale Brownies--but they look yummy...
Your blocks look so pretty up on the wall...you have been busy...

what a neat idea to have individual brownies and can freeze too - I have never heard of this brand.
Lucky, Wanda!! Brownies that you didn't have to bake. Made with wholesome ingredients. What a generous gift!
Are you happy with your Shark iron? I bought a new Oliso last April and it decided to not lift one time and left me with a dark scorch mark on a new ironing board cover. It could have started a fire. Now I find I can't trust it to lift plus it randomly leaks.
I'm loving these blocks — the fact that they're one of my favorite color combos doesn't hurt, either! And there's something about 16-patches that's just so satisfying.
The brownies look (and sound) amazing, too, and I'm going to check these out. Happy munching, happy sewing!
Love the soft glow these blocks are creating as they come together. Individually they aren't much to look at, but together they are fabulous. The brownies sounds like a good thing!
Great idea for the brownies, so you can ration them. (One at a time is rationing, isn't it? LOL.) The 16-patch colorway is great.
The quilt blocks look like relaxing colors. Need that.
Brownies! What a creative idea. Would be great to send my great nieces and nephews on their birthdays. Enjoy your blog immensely.
The blocks are looking wonderful! I have never heard of those brownies. That is a great idea that they are individually wrapped. Excellent idea to put some in the freezer for a rainy day!
Great progress on your 16 patch. And I had to Google Fairy Tale Brownies (*._.*) they sound delicious and several good reviews on them.

I'm really enjoying this quilt progress, blue and green is my favorite color pairing. The brownies sound delicious!
I'm a soap maker and the combinations of blue and green are my favorite colors to swirl in my white soap. Such relaxing colors even when showering. I'm also a quilter and think those colors are inducing to sleep. In these solitary times, it's so good to have projects to keep my mind busy and not missing seeing my friends and four (grown) children. It gets lonely.
