I put the 29 Kaffe 16 patch blocks up on my design wall. Every fabric is a shade of blue, turquoise or green. There are a couple bright spots in some of them. I sewed 3 more blocks after I took this photo. Now I will decide if any need to be replaced before I sew the other half of identical blocks.
As I searched through more of the Christmas items I found another patriotic Santa. I'm not sure what he is made of. I originally thought he might be paper mache (couldn't find the e with a mark above it).
This is the bottom of the Santa so I know it is handmade. I bought this one first and the one I showed a couple days ago 3 years later.
Here they are together.
Here is the other little quilt my friend Rosemary gave to me. This one is 11.75" x 13". I think she made this one first.
Look how fast the waxed Amaryllis is growing. I might have a bloom by Christmas.

I love blue and green together so those squares are right up my street! I have to restrain myself, or I would make nothing else. That's such a sweet little Christmas tree.
(Incidentally apostrophe, followed immediately by e [ ' e gives é ])
Mmm...I have missed reading your blog. Balm for the soul it is. Cobblestones and pineapples...just what I needed (smile).
The 16 patch blocks make for such a pretty quilt. Our patriotic Santa’s are so cute as is the delightful mini quilt.
Very pretty blocks coming together. That amaryllis is really growing quickly...

Fun post today Wanda ... I like your bright spots in your 16 patch and I'm a BLUE loving person. If I wasn't so old I'd start a Santa collection, those are so cute. Your Amaryllis is fun seeing it grow so fast. Growing in its waxed shell still amazes me.

The blocks look great! The patriotic Santa figures are fun and unusual. I have never seen any in that style before. The amaryllis is so cool!
Love the quilt squares. I still have no decorations out. Christmas cards are painted and being assembled.
