Not a lot of progress.........

Now the vertical seams of the first five columns are sewn. After I took this photo I continued cutting small squares and need just three more.  I have a lot of holey floral fabrics!

I was near the end of the second book in the series so I spent a few hours reading and finished "The Girl Who Played with Fire".  My library doesn't have the third one on the shelf right now and that is probably good because I have other things I need to do.  My 2 friends are coming to sew today.  Thursday I will continue to clear off tables for the art quilters on Monday.

Getting those long seams to match up and be even is no mean feat. Looking great!

Gorgeous quilt! Loved the Girl Who Played with Fire, too, and got hooked :)

It is amazing how much the top has shrunk sewing those seams. It is looking wonderful!

I'm in awe of all the florals - florals being a favourite - in this! It is a fascinating to look at - I wonder how many hours one could spent just looking at it and trying to name all the different flowers! Then I went back and read more about it on your blog and it is really worth all the time you have taken fussy cutting each square.

Working on your 'seed packet' flowers in your studio and then you turn around and are outside working in your blossoming gardens. (*._.*). This time of year our gardens keep us running. I jumped yesterday when Tony' the toad moved into one of my gardens, he really is cute. He blends in with the soil but has ink navy blue eyes. I must find a house for him. Seems like I've seen them in garden magazines.
