2nd post today............#2 July 2017 finish........
The photo is big but the wallhanging is small, 26" square. I thought I wanted to do a lot of stitching on this one but once I had finished the ditch quilting I decided to extend the lines of the "ribs" in the column with matching hot pink thread and decided it was done. The hot pink is brighter than it looks here. My camera makes it look a little more coral/pink. I am not a believer that black binding is the answer on every quilt but in this case, there was black in the piecing so the binding had to be black.

As a nurse, rehab specialist, and a person with back problems...I LOVE this little quilt. It says so much to any spine specialist. You captued just the right colors. Love that you chose hot pink to quilt it, it speaks to all the smaller arteries, etc that come off the spine. Great Job!

Great finish. I love how you chose to finish off the quilting lines from the design. It makes a good statement.
I just had my neck aligned in a new way yesterday after having spine imaging pictures. So, your quilt is extra meaningful. The black binding is perfect. Big impact from a small quilt.
The piece turned out great. I hope you will be hanging it up so you can enjoy it.
Of all your finishes this month, this one pulls at me the most. It just draws me in.
Great finish. I really like your quilting on this one. It works so well with the design.
Terrific finish!
such a beautiful piece--and great to see you persevered.
Great finish! The quilting and the binding sets it up perfectly.
I LOVE it!
I'm glad you posted a close up so I could see how you quilted it. I am just started to do machine quilting.
What a grand array of finishes for July, Wanda. Each individual quilt is so full of your exuberant creativity . Always enjoy your finishes for the month.
