Another quilted..........

I loaded the smaller of the two Laurel Burch Stack and Slash quilts and quilted it last night.  The bright magenta backing fabric is a flannel Laurel Burch print.

I did this one in vertical wavy lines with a loop now and then.

Earlier in the afternoon I put the colorwash of squares (that was clipped together) up on a design wall.  This will be the before photo.  I will start tweaking it today.  It needs the right side row moved out one space and some lighter values put in between.  Also it could use at least one more row on the bottom.  Maybe it will get 5 or 6 rows on the bottom by the time I am done with it.
I just had to show you the cluster of orange cactus blooms.

Beautiful......as usual. Love the color of those blooms.

I love the simple quilting on the Laurel Burch quilt. I have a tendency to quilt more densely -so this is a good reminder for me.

I've never seen so many blooms on a cactus at one time....they are so pretty. Those Laurel Birch fabrics are very bright and eye catching, and would make some little boy or girl very happy!!! Is it a gift for your great grandson? Enjoy the day and stay warm.

That color wash is amazing and that is one of my favorite bloom colors of the Christmas cactus.

Love the colorwash and the Laurel Burch. I enjoy watching the processes from beginning to end. The blooms are beautiful.
I've got two orchids with 6 buds each on them. I've forgotten what color they are.

Love the colors of quilts & blooms. Do you often use flannel to back quilts? Do you have any troubles with the different kinds of fabric on front & back? You remain amazing! :)
