I finished the rest of the blocks for Island Sunrise but this isn't the final layout. It was 11 p.m by the time I got the photo taken so it was too late to start rearranging them.
The weatherman finally got it right: we got snow. I'm guessing there is about 7" from what I shoveled off the sidewalk. The last shoveling was at 5 p.m. and the sidewalk was covered again before I went to bed.
I filled the bird feeders just before dark on Monday night so the squirrels wouldn't bother them. I knew it was supposed to start snowing early in the morning before I would be up. This photo was taken before 10 a.m. There were big flakes in the beginning. It snowed all day and the snow is wet and heavy. The temperature was around 32 degrees most of the day so it was comfortable shoveling, but it was really slippery.

We got about the sme amount. The snow was so wet my coat was soaked when I got in from shoveling. I really like your flowers. The blocks are really nice looking. Lots of work. Chris
well it sure looks pretty!
Beautiful pics - yes, I find fresh snow to be beautiful - although I'm getting anxious for spring so glad for your flower shots too.

we got about the same amount but during the night-heavy, heavy stuff. but it does look so pretty.
Your wall hanging is going to be very beautiful.
The photo taken behind the tree is really nice. I love the contrasts. Hope you got time to read some of the new book you got in preparation for the storm.
Your blocks are great!

We go rain here. Yah! A pretty spring weekend is in the forecast :D
Island Sunrise, Blanket of Snow, and Cacti blossoms. The wonderful world of photo's.
By now you have no doubt rearranged your Island Sunrise and your snow is melting, but I'm sure you are still enjoying your blossom's.

Oh, wow, good thing you have lots pretty and colorful on the inside. I noticed the zebra striped flower pot, too. ;)
It may look cold outside, but Island Sunrise radiates beautiful colour and warmth!

That was enough snow! I can tell the birds appreciate the feeders!
