I quilted 3 more of the preemie quilts before I left for sewing circle yesterday. Last night I sewed the last 9 blocks needed for this quilt. I put them up on a double design wall and will probably make a few changes today before I sew them together into a top. The blocks are 15" finished so this quilt will be about 60" x 75". I will look for a backing today too. I'm sure I have something that will work. Hopefully I can get back to the 8 point star flannel quilt today too and get the sashing sewn onto the blocks. Then I need to choose the strip color that goes between the Rattlesnake center and the paper pieced borders. Flannel quilts create a lot of lint so I'll be happy to be done with all of them.

Flannel does cause a lot of lint. But it feels good. Glad you are getting so much done.
I mades quite a few quilts using this pattern in the past and I always loved the design. This one is coming along nicely! It does remind me I have a flannel quilt I need to make for my sister, BUT there is that little bathroom renovation ... darn!
It looks like 1/4 of one of these blocks divides on the diagonal, which means you could arrange quarter-blocks in any of the zillion log cabin arrangements. Have you ever tried that? Did it "work"?

I REALLY like this one ! To me plaids are so neat and tidy. It will feel as wonderful as it looks.

I really like this one! It looks so cozy and comfortable - and being flannel, I bet it ends up as a much-used and loved quilt.
Those look great and I love the movement in them.
You are so prolific in all you do. I admire your stick-tui-tive-ness. I am always anxious to see what you do next.
Would love to wrap me bones in that flannel quilt. LOL!!!
Ooooh I do
loVE this quilt--It doesn't get any better than plaids and flannel, and I love this buzzsaw(?) block.
When you clean your machine after sewing on flannel, it is like removing a blanket from it.

The buzz saw design is one of my favorites.
