Wanda, your organizational skills knock my socks off. I want to be like you when I grow up! My sewing room looks like a fabric bomb went off in it - this means that there are new projects brewing! Can't wait to see your next Log Cabin
I love the use of the pencil boxes to file the strips by length. You give me lots of great ideas.
I sure can imagine the mess you can make while working on 5 different projects. I can make pure ordinary disaster out of my sewing room with even one project.
You may feel like you have messes but you look SO organized to me. And I am generally the organization queen in my family! So this is an observation from someone with documented experience. LOL!!
So nice to be organized. I really need to take a lesson from you and do the same thing. Right now everything is just piled in containers. Your system would be so much better.
Oh, is that a mess you get when you work on five different projects at a time? I thought it was beauty. I am working on about as many things right now - maybe more, but I call my mess creative chaos.
I think I could match you any day when it comes to making messes while we work!
Only way not to make a mess is not to do the work.
The mess?!?!? I have selvages dripping EVERYWHERE in my studio right now ... outrageously messy ... what fun!
Another great idea! I hate having down time for appointments and having to sit around - I am always looking for something to have with me to work on - brilliant!

A mess mentioned but not photographed, so I believe you! I think having something ready to spontaneously work on is very therapeutic...life can't all be planned or neat and tidy.
Having all those pieces ready must make it so much easier to just sit down and sew when you feel like starting that.
You are an incredible quilter! I need to get organized! Sorry about your humidity. I know when we are in Vermont I can just wilt. This summer we are in Seattle with no AC and when it gets to 85 degrees with no humity WE wilt.
IF you ever have a mess it is organized I am sure. ☺
Now I think I am caught with with all the posts I missed with all my visiting company. After my smoothie I had a giant piece of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. ☺ It is time to turn on my iron now.
