A great day!

The reuinion birthday party was so much fun.  There were 16 in attendance and we all looked great!!

In quilty news I won these 3 Kaffe's on ebay and one was only $1.50, the other 2 were $2.75 and $2.76.  They are 3 colors that I didn't have in those patterns.  I usually lose out because some of the pieces (fat quarters) go for over $5.
Another 45 log cabin blocks ready to play with.  I still have a stack to add 3 more logs onto so I'll finish them before I start designing.

Even though it got pretty warm yesterday the humidity was way down so it was a great day.

Wonderful!! So glad you had a terrific reunion. An at the end of the day you had some Kaffe fabric to top it off. Can it get any better?

I saw those older Kaffe's on ebay and was tempted to bid on some, but I am on a strict "no-buy" right now, so I closed my browser and moved on. Good for you for getting some to add to your collection!

Oh, yay! So glad you had a good time and that you could all admire each other. That's an impressive stack of log cabins, and I love ebay.

There is a group of us that graduated from high school and we get together once a month. We love it! Love the fabrics you "won" on ebay. I had to stop looking because I was buying so much. Not much cooler here today but the humidity is down. I was out working in the yard for a little while and it was pleasant.

Love your new avatar - and congrats on your win!!! I have NEVER won a thing, not once, so it's gratifying to me when someone I "know" wins!!!! Yay! To celebrate, I went to Amazon and purchased some Kaffe myself. It will be for the borders of the H quilt - another one inspired by you!

So glad your birthday reunion went well and you had a great time. I am jealous.... Trying to organize one with our bunch was impossible. Everyone wanted it at a different time and place so I stopped trying to organize and went to NV. to see my old H.S. friend and classmate end of April. It was so nice to catch up, because she did not make it to our 50th HS reunion.

Those are nice Kaffe's that you won. And as always your blocks for the log cabin sparkle.
