This was the view out my kitchen window yesterday morning. It was a beautiful day and the beginning of a 5 day warm spell. It's going to be in the 60's tomorrow, unbelievable after all of the cold weather we have had. There is nothing else to show you unless you want to see the vacuum cleaner or the cookie sheets going in and out of the oven. My art quilters group is coming today so yesterday I finished cleaning the basement and baked my 2 batches of cookies for them.

my view here at home was something like your view. It got up in the low 60's and the sun was shining after a cold start of 38. More of the same for the next couple of days I'm so glad.

Fall leaves beginning to turn are wonderful...and cookies are even better.

Beautiful view! Hope you had a great time with your guests!
What a wonderful view. I wish I could be one of your students, not only because I would learn to make Colourful quilts but get to eat cookies as well.
It is nice to see some leaves turning. We were hit with that Artic front with temps in the single digits just over a week ago. The leaves were burnt to a crisp or looked like steamed spinach hanging onto the branches. Do enjoy your warm ... (do I dare say) 'Indian Summer'days.

Gorgeous view! We're supposed to have the same weather, but it sure looks like rain here!
Hi Wanda,
Everything is getting a bit yellower here, too, with a touch of red here and there. The colors seem more muted this year, even further north (Michigan).
Hope you had a fun day with your art group.

Nice view of the trees. Funny most of the leaves here are already gone from the trees. Another week and they will be desolate, except for the evergreens.
A beautiful tree, and I can "almost" smell the baking, but the vacuum cleaner? No thanks.
Actually I would rather see some of those cookies appear at my house!!! We had an almost perfect day yesterday too...about 70. Today is supposed to be more of the same, then 2 days of rain.
