The top and bottom row are the easiest to sew because every square is the same. The other rows will have the variety of green sprinkled through them so I'll have to pay attention to get them back up on the design wall in the right place after I sew the 2 triangles together.
Meanwhile in spare moments here and there I have started 3 dishcloths. They are all at the same stage now, ready to do decreases on every row. I can pick up whichever color I feel like working on.
It only got up to 65 yesterday and was quite windy. I had some windows open and there was a chill in the kitchen last night. So what to do? Bake cookies.

Love the variegated corners on your dishcloths--what a great idea to mix n' match the cotton yarns...so pretty;)))
69 here at 7 a.m.--it'll be a hot, humid one today with some rain we are told...Hoping to finish up my room and get back to sewing today. Hugs, Julierose
Oh, I would love some 65-degree weather! Those look like peanut butter cookies—I haven’t made those in ages, but I like them a lot.
PB cookies are my go to cookies when I want a cookie ,our weather's giving us a mix of rain, cool mornings & hot afternoons, the dishcloths ate looking great, luv how the green blocks are coming along
Your dishcloths are so pretty. Baking cookies is a great idea when it's cooler! We finally got our cold front, but its arrival brought severe storms. No damage here but plenty around the north Dallas area. But it's 60° this morning - yay!
I can see how it would be easy to mess up sewing those pieces together! The dishcloths are pretty! Peanut butter cookies? YUM!
You took a windy cool day and turned it into another fun day, with all your handwork on fabric and yarn… and to end up whipping up a batch of cookies.
Wishing you clear thinking as you begin the zig-zag HST layout!
Today is out hot 91*F day and then we'll be back to the lovely and cooler 70s*F. All outdoor tasks can wait for that.
Hope to have the energy to start piecing backing for the baby quilt.
Hugs!
I haven't made cookies since last Christmas don't know why - I feel the need for a small cake or cookies might be the perfect day tomorrow to do some
Mmmmmm, peanut butter cookies with the crisscross top!
Wonderfully cool here today - rain this morning but clear and sunny in the afternoon. Cool enough this evening to appreciate a sweater or light jacket.
