Webbing in progress............

All of the seams are sewn in one direction and a few sewn in the other direction.  I got a couple tiny pleats where I was trying to ease the fabric in to make points match.  I may go back and fix that after I get all of the rows sewn.

It was the last cool day yesterday before we head up to the 80's again so I wanted to bake one more thing.  I had an expired box mix that was my choice.  They say the baking powder might may lose some of its power in an expired mix but I figured I would take a chance on it.

My loaf pan was one inch smaller in both directions than they called for so I decided to make 3 muffins and a loaf.  I shouldn't have worried about the bread getting too tall since it came out shorter than I expected.  It tastes great so I'm happy.  I'll freeze half of the loaf and the 3 muffins and eat the other half of the loaf.

Mmmm, lemon poppyseed, a favorite flavor of mine. It looks delicious :) I always go back and try to ease in any pleats. I have found Kaffe fabric from certain years is more “wiggly” and prone to stretching.

The Lemon/Poppyseed loaf and muffins look so good;)) )I also enjoy using KA mixes...now you've inspired me to make some scones....;)))
Good work getting that webbing done in the first direction...I do tend to get a few folds when I do webbing--still a "newbie" at it!!
50 here and a bit chilly inside this morning...hot coffee does the trick though;))) Looks to be another lovely day here..

Your quilt is coming along! I love the sunshine we're having but I wish it were about 10 degrees warmer. I thought about detouring to go to the King Arthur store/HQ when I was in Vermont but that will have to wait until the next time.

You should have that top finished this week to add to your totals for the month. The lemon poppyseed bread looks good! I have a bag of lemons in the fridge along with some poppy seeds - maybe I will dig up a recipe and make some muffins.

DH is baking bread this morning - don't you love how good baking makes your house smell?!! We are headed into the low 90s again after today (BOO!). Fall will return next week, thankfully.

Great progress on your quilt and I wish you well getting those couple of seam intersections to meet up.
Yum! Any bread and anything lemon, please and thank you. Long ago at the Pink Palace Crafts Fair (Memphis), I bought a ceramic plaque that says "I never met a carbohydrate I didn't like." Still true.

Hugs!

I sometimes wonder how much past expiration dates we can actually use things without being worried - I think the main thing I am usually concerned with and don't use is dairy products.
