Some more 1990s fabric................

There were lots of Nancy Crow fabrics that didn't make it into the 16 patch selection on yesterday's post.  The one on the right is folded so you can see the whole gradation across the 44".  The sunset in the middle doesn't show the other half which fades to pale apricot.  This is 22" showing from top to bottom.

Again this is 22" from top to bottom in the photo.  It's pretty obvious why they wouldn't work in 2" finished squares.

This photo shows about 11" from top to bottom.  There are more.....  I have more colors in several of these.  These 3 photos show the group called "what am I going to do with these?".

This is a pretty sad photo showing shadows from the top of the box on the cookies.  Yesterday I baked one batch of these shortbread and mixed up a batch of chocolate chip dough to bake this morning.  Then I have one more thing to bake mid-day.  My second grandson is getting married Friday so family will be visiting.

Those "what do I do with this?" fabrics I use for backings and bindings...sometimes they surprise you how well they look in bindings...at least I have found that to be true.
67 this morning in the showery rains we are having--so nice to see it coming down and hearing it on the roof--we've had the dryest Summer here...somehow I get a feeling of relief hearing
this rain...
The next thing on my agenda for the final "re-org" are the "scrap bags". So I will be using our dining table for sorting and bagging in colorways...for some strange reason I do enjoy doing this.;)))
hugs, Julierose

Oh, fun! A wedding, family and COOKIES! It’s been raining a good soaking rain on and off for a couple of days here…..it’s rather refreshing as it’s cooled the temps and really made it feel like fall.

Wow! Two reasons for family to celebrate this week...a new great-grand and a wedding. I love shortbread cookies. They would disappear fast in our house.

Love the 'what to do' fabrics and can see them as backings, perhaps with borders to make them large enough. What a delightful variety, too. With giblets you perhaps can fussy cut?
Rain late yesterday afternoon so we got wet after the grocery store, rain midday today, and likely tomorrow but am not complaining! Today is the last day in the mid-80s*F and in the coming week all highs will be in the 70s*F! Sweet!

Hugs!

Very unique pieces of fabric that you will no doubt create with down the road. We grandma’s always have to have cookies to share, I need to replenish my stash also. I can see why you need some cookies to share especially with a wedding on the calendar.

What am I going to do with these? Wholecloth table toppers or mug/table mats, backings for small quilts, bindings, journal covers, or pillow covers? Enjoy your weekend with family.

Lots of good suggestions on what to do with those fabrics. The ones that caught my eye were the two leaf looking prints and the big stripe in the last pictures. Just don't ask me what to make with them! LOL!!

enjoy family visiting while you have it. I don't think I have any fabric left from the 90's - I know I do from around 2000 because I am still using fabric that was left over from my grandson's baby quilt.
