I had 3 things on my list to do yesterday; one got done. I'm not sure where all the rest of the hours went.
Since this double 4 patch quilt is so scrappy, I looked in the box of Kaffe 2.5" strips and chose 5 that looked okay together for the binding. The twig stripe is a Martha Negley print and there are some MN prints in the quilt top.
I got it sewn on, finished last night.
Just another view of all 5 strips and front and back of the quilt. I think it looks good. I'll get it photographed today.
Rain was predicted for yesterday morning and we were on the far western edge of the storm and didn't get enough rain to measure. The driveway and street were wet and there were drops of rain on leaves. I watered the tomatoes and cucumber plants. It got up to 87 degrees.

You're a busy little bee over there😄 great job on the finishes, our weather is in that in-between stage, too cool with the ceiling fans on ,too hot with them off
The strips you selected for binding worked really well. Some days are like that, slip by before you know it. It’s been in the low 80’s with no rain for the week we’ve been home.
loving the green quilt a lot....ordered me a few new kaffes to play with....can't resist!
That twig fabric looks super;))) nice work on getting that done!!
56 here with .04" rain overnight...Finally coming out of the aftereffects;))) hugs, Julierose
The binding looks terrific—a scrappy binding is so fun, especially on a scrappy quilt. -Roxanne
I know how that goes with having a list and wondering how I didn't get it done. Love the binding fabrics! No rain here which was good since our show was outside. The was an earlier threat, but nothing happened.
What a fun pieced binding, it really compliments the top. Most of my days are just like the one you had yesterday ~ “Wondering where the day went”. But I justify it at my age and know I can’t move as fast as I use to. Pushing 85 is a chore.
Great night work, binding... great finish.
fantastic little squares, what colors... I really like them.
Although I'm currently starting a project with earth tones :-)))
But my predecessors were also Kaffe and Tula and Tilda...
Hug from Viola
the binding on it really looks good.
Applause, applause on bringing another gloriously colorful quilt from idea to reality!! Good for planet's Karma, too.
We're to get to 83*F today with rain and cooler temperatures likely Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Hope it arrives!
Hugs!
