The borders are on and looking at it now, I think it will need the white dotted fabric for binding. At first I thought green. This zig zag top measures 54" x 69".
With the quilt top finished, I quilted the table runner I started a couple days ago. I used Invisafil WonderFil thread for the ditch quilting.
I used thread that matches the color of the zebras in the bobbin.
I have to find a binding for this table runner and for the quilt I finished yesterday and maybe get them cut and sewn on today. Then I have an area I want to clean up and organized which will take the rest of the day.

Yea for the finish! The runner has beautiful colors, looking forward to seeing what's next on your cutting table, clean up can take more time than anything at times, there's times when it feel I gotta clean up to make a new mess🤣
I can see the white used for binding the zig zag quilt would give an airy finish and the green would fence it in. I hadn’t thought it was as large as it is…..it’s a good sized throw. You are closing in on two more finishes, yay. I have just settled in from being away for 6 weeks and finally sat down to sew. It felt good! Better than that was gifting a quilt to a friend yesterday. For me, giving is a gift in and of itself, if that makes sense.
Your zig zag top is really pretty, especially with those little pops of pink. Nice quilting on the runner!
I just really love those little pops of pink in the green Zig-Zag--nice wok on this finish.
DH and I are just starting to feel better after Thurs. shots...not a fun ride!!:(((
52 here early this morning with sun peeking over the hilltop...
Hugs for a great weekend Julierose
Rain this morning! But it was gorgeous for our Rotary golf tournament yesterday........I have some of those batiks in my stash. And you know how much I like the Kaffe-and-plaid.
September, Saturday post is so refreshing the borders added to your quilt top made this absolutely stunning. Zebra backing was is a fun addition for this runner.
Zig-zag and zebras look great together and how quickly you were, start to finish!
Love the colors and batiks in your table runner, too. That will liven up some tabletop most beautifully.
What's next?!
Hugs!
the zig zag quilt is actually larger than I thought it was. you finished it pretty quickly too
I love how the zig-zag quilt turned out!
