I spent the day yesterday pressing 32 Nancy Crow fabrics from the 1990s. A friend wants to make a 16 patch with them. While I cut for her I cut for 2 quilts for myself. I have more of her fabrics but some just weren't suitable to be cut up in small pieces.
I stopped at 40 stitches on this dishcloth because there wasn't much yarn left. It looks like I could have gone to 41 stitches...but I'm happy I stopped when I did.
I now have 6 great-grandchildren. The newest baby was born yesterday, a little girl. Now There are 4 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters. This little one lives on the east coast so I won't see her for a while.

Congratulations to the newest addition to your family! Wishing you all good health and happiness!
Can’t wait to see what quilts you make with the Nancy Crow fabrics…..they are vibrant! Congratulations on your 6th great-grandchild! Some of my grands are approaching adulthood so great-grands could be around the corner for me, yikes!!!
Awww congrats on the new grandbaby! lots of beautiful bright colors in the stash!
I have always loved Nancy's fabric line--I remember when they first came out...they should make a lovely quilt...
Congratulations on a new addition to the family :)))...My daughter's 4 are all adults now and my son's are in Middle and High school--time sure does fly by....
And it's finally RAINING here--yippee--we dearly need some good rains...66 this morning and a bit foggy, too...love the sound of rain on the roof...
Hugs, Julierose
Congrats on the newest little one! My daughter is having her first child in a couple of months.
I just purchased a tub full of 90s fabric from a gal in a senior mobile home park. Started sewing for the baby by making my first hooded lined infant jacket.
there's a name from the past...nancy crow....nice fabrics...you are blessed indeed with all those great grands!
Congratulations on your newest GGdaughter! In this age of digital photos, I hope the family shares updates with you even though you are far away. Those Nancy Crow fabrics are gorgeous!
Your fabric stash always amazes me! To have that many NC fabrics is great! Congratulation on your great-granddaughter!
A new great grand daughter ❣️ making 6 greats for you now. I do not have any friends our age that even have any great grandchildren ~ your fabric shows are always the best. Arranging them in a quilt line up too.
Congratulations on the newest member of your family! I hope she has a very happy and healthy life. And I hope you get to see her soon.
Congratulations to all the family! Do you make quilts for all of the great-grands? And congratulations on finally cutting into those splendid Nancy Crow prints.
Congratulations on the new great-grand! Hae you already made a baby quilt for her?
Congratulations on your new great grandchild! That must be interesting to have children, and then grandchildren, and then great grandchildren! I don't have children, so I haven't experienced this phenomenon.
Fabric from the 90's how neat to see. And another great-grandchild I don't think I will ever have any. I have 2 grandchildren one of each and neither is interesting in children but they have plenty of time still so who can tell.
Congratulations on the blessing of the newest great-grand-daughter!
