Future blooms....................
I bought a $5 Amaryllis bulb already planted this year and I made sure to get one with a bud peeking out. After 2 weeks I was pleasantly surprised to see a second bud started. This is supposed to be a deep red bloom, darker than any I have ever had. I'll know in a couple weeks if the package is telling the truth.

I bought a 3-pack set of amaryllis at Costco. All three just had the tips of blooms peaking out. Not sure of the color, but they were in 3 glass containers on a board. Very lovely. Can't wait to see the colors.

I look forward to seeing the colour of this one. You bought for a good price, with the exchange rate that would be around NZ $7.50 but you couldn't buy an amaryllis here for that price!
