Something easy...........

I just want something easy to work on while I plan a next project so I looked through my list of already started quilts.  This one fits the bill.  Both end borders are made and the spacer border is already cut.  The only decision I need to make is whether to add a border all the way around of the same deep red batik.

Love that quilt. It combines two of my favorites - log cabin blocks and the color red. I was digging around this morning trying to think of an easy project to work on when I get home since I am so tired and hot after a long day in the heat. I found a pile of flannel 9 patch pieces that just need to be sewn into blocks so that's what I will be working on.

I can't think that you would need another border, but I know that you will make the perfect decision.

I love your liberated log cabins -- and the fact that they're red makes them even better.

What a fun piece to work on ! Finding a treasure like that to finish is indeed a treat. First thing that came to mind was jubilant !

I like no brainer as a rest sometimes, well, a lot really. I love the pattern and colors. Perhaps I’d leave the borders as is but use the dark red for binding?
