I have finished the second colorburst quilt now. It is 34" square.
I put a batik on the back, a multicolor print.
My fingers are sore from 2 days of sewing batik bindings. Some of them are hard to push a needle through on the crosswise grain of the backing.
This outside photo on an overcast day has truer color than the inside photos.

Hope you're recovering well from your procedure.

another gorgeous quilt!
Beautiful quilt with a beautiful smile!!!! :-)
Very pretty Wanda, glad you are feeling better.
I love these colorbursts. I'm looking forward to your online class.
Gorgeous!
Such a gorgeous photo -- and with a waterfall, even. Hugs to you - hope your fingers recover quickly (I don't like hand stitching batiks either).
You are looking great Wanda, and the new quilt, in the brighter, stronger colors, is gorgeous. I don't remember seeing a waterfall in any of the previously posted pictures, so I guess you borrowed it from another location. It adds another dimension to an already beautiful photo. Hugs
Just stunning! And I love the outdoor garden photo with you holding the quilt... it so suits you!
Lovely.
(*._.*). I know where you are ! (*._.*) Another color burst perfection, so perfect for a Saturday post. AND ... Your smile tells it all.

Lovely picture...You look great!
Love your quilt. I use a #10 quilting needle to do my binding without a thimble when stitching batiks.
Gorgeous quilt just bursting with colour, quilts always seem to show truer when the photos are taken outside, especially when taken in such a lovely setting.
absolutely beautiful, and what a great batik pattern you found for the backing!
Beautiful.......you are giving me inspiration to make one!! survivor972002@midco.net

That is so pretty - I really like the colourburst quilt and love the setting where you took the outdoor photo!
