Piecing and planting..........

I spent a few hours cleaning up files on my computer.  After that I didn't want to work on a big project so I just sewed 2 triangles together into squares.

The next time I get an idea for a quilt made of triangles I will have a large number of them already sewn.

It warmed up enough yesterday afternoon to finally plant the tomato plants.  There are six in the raised bed and a grape tomato plant in the white pot.  It is going to still be cooler than normal this week but it sounds like the rest of May might be back to normal.

Funny they said that April was the warmest on record and now below temps in May. I like to have things sewn up ahead for a project I am sure you will use every one of them. Chris

When cleaning this past weekend I came across the container of triangle pieces cut off from the quilt I made Jon Bon Jovi. The triangles are on the small side, but I still could not throw them away. I always thought I would like to make a quilt with them, but I just haven't gotten around to it. The triangles are not all the same size either.

I should have gone out last evening and worked in the yard. It was nice and cool. I have seeds to plant and weeds to pull.

It's still raining here off and on. The flower garden is growing and I try to keep an eye out to catch a weed or two. Today is clean out the sewing room day. It's a small bedroom filled with fabric, it will be quite a job!!

It's always so nice to get the garden up and going again. I do hope it warms up a bit for you so the tomatoes set.

I can definitely see where having those triangles sewn together would be a big help. ;-)

I've been spending an hour or so a day working on the computer files -- so very necessary but really not a lot of fun. Stitching is MUCH more enjoyable!

Squirrels are stealing all of my parents' tomatoes. I hope you have better luck. Homegrown tomatoes are delicious!

Wonderful that you already had them cut out with the notched corners too! And in beautiful fabrics. Looking forward to seeing what you create!
