Moving the pieces.......

I needed to clear off my double wall by the best lights in the basement.  This is what has been hanging there for about 4 weeks.  I have enjoyed them all there so much I didn't want to take them down.  That might mean I have to finish them...........
So.....last night I took them down and moved all of these blocks over there.  I need 14 blocks to finish the top row and add a row on the bottom.  I made 5 more blocks last night but haven't pressed or trimmed them yet.

With the change of the seasons today it is time to get organized.  I need to finish some quilts this month.

You amaze me at all the sewing you have done this Summer. Hopefully I can get to my sewing soon. Chris

Nw I can see the different size blocks. Lots of movement in this one.
Wow...love seeing all 4 of the colorwash projects together. Good to compare the different color placements and effect.

Everything is gorgeous, as always!

In this post, though, I especially notice -- and like -- the contrast in the sizes of the blocks in the Kaffe quilt. Size is a design element that rarely gets much play.

I understand how hard it would be to take down the colorwash pieces. They are so beautiful! The striped squares piece is coming along wonderfully. I really like the change in the size of the blocks.

The second quilt (the middle quilt) on the left is calling my name ! All of these are very pretty so I think it would be like eye candy on your wall. Have you thought any about offering these for sale ? I sure would be interested and I expect others would be too.

No wonder you didn't want to take those glorious colour wash quilt tops off the design wall! Seeing them all there is amazing!
But your Fassett stripe blocks really are special too - so rich and full of colour!
