Prep work...........

It is time to start cleaning the basement for the art quilters' visit next week.  While I was down there I wound the bobbins for the two spin wallhangings.  I will alternate between quilting and cleaning the next 5 days.

My son is coming to stay for a month so I had to de-quilt the spare bedroom completely. This means I shall enjoy your blog even more! The orange chrysantheum fabric - is that William Morris or Philip Jacobs?

Reading your blog each morning is like visiting a friend who has the same passion for quilting and gardening. Thank you for this blog

I am so into 'orange' right now. Just love looking at fabric with orange and believe it or not, I used to hate orange. I have not made anything with orange, but I will. Love your orange fabric.

I need to do the same thing. My modern quilt group is meeting at my house next week.

My basement needs a big time cleaning and I've been trying to talk myself into doing it all week.

Can you come clean here when you are finished so I have more time to quilt????

I need to have a group coming here so I can get motivated to clean my studio. Think they'd like to meet down here?

Good plan to alternate -- too much cleaning all at once is no fun!

Having people in... is just the excuse to clean up!!! I had to do the same thing last week. But you wouldn't know it now. Oh well!

My Studio looks like a fabric bomb went off. I finished Kathy Doughty's Garden Party and prepped for my 3rd Exploring Color class and the combo decimated my work space-today I am cleaning! Never have seen an orange aphid. Good luck with them.
