The easy one is done.........

It's  nice to have an easy project in the works while working on one that will take a long time.  This top is sewn together and staystitched around the edges.  I'm not in love with it but it used up 5 yards of flannel and is very girly with all of those flowers.  It is 56" x 70" before quilting.
I cut more strips and corners for Rattlesnake and then made 2 more blocks.  There are 36 of these blocks in the quilt and I only have 19 pairs of corners cut so far.  I have plenty of fabric, it is just a matter of deciding which ones I want to use.

even with all the flowers, that quilt doesn't look all that girly to me.

it sounds like you are making quilts to just use up fabric :) is that the point right now? I have thought of making some more too mainly just to use up stash and practice more of the straight line machine quilting. I don't need them but if I don't mess them up I can donate them.

Easy one? Are those inset seams? I like the design-can't figure out how you did it from the picture.

I need to do a quilt like that first one for a veteran's quilt. I like fast!

only a patient, expert sew-master could successfully complete that complicated rattlesnake pattern. and with stretchy flannel -- yikes! you amaze me, Wanda.

What a nice quilt! The Rattlesnake blocks are coming along nicely.

I love to have an easy project thrown in with harder ones. So much satisfaction from finishing a top. Nice.

What a pretty flannel quilt top. And yes it is very 'girly' that why I like it so much. (*._,*)

That quilt top looks so cozy - perfect on a day like this!
I'm really intrigued by your rattlesnake quilt - can't wait to see more.

Wow, how industrious you are. I'm inspired by all you do and complete. I'm always adding to the piles I already have, and when I see you steaming ahead and getting yours done I'm more inclined to push forward. Thanks for sharing.

That's going to be my goal this year.
Truly I do love the 'simplicity' of this pattern.
