96 degrees, good indoor weather.....

Another record breaking heat wave...96 yesterday, 92 today.  I was talking to a friend and she said her hostas looked like mine and they weren't in the sun so it is heat stress, with maybe a little sunburn.  I stayed inside all day, laundry, to do lists before I leave, etc.  Today I will meet with the house sitter and finish packing.  I made a few more cobblestone blocks and hope to do a few more today.
Today on this Memorial Day we will remember those who have served and are serving in the armed forces.  Thank you to all of them for their hard work and sacrifice.

Yes indeed it is a day to stay in. I should cut some pieces to make cobblestones as leaders and enders.

Yes we give thanks to those who have served.

Yes. A good day to stay inside. Or ride in an air conditioned car. Your cobblestone blocks look great. Finish packing. Be seeing you in a week. My sewing/quilting friend and I will be carpooling to Charlotte to take your class :D

I was in all day except for visiting two cemetery's on Sunday. Cold and rainy here in the valley. No sunshine and it hit a high of 53 degrees. Can not believe your temps.

Wanda, I've lost track of when you are leaving, but I know it's soon. Really wish I could be there for your opening. It will be such a wonderful show!

So here's wishing you a supremely fun and successful trip!

Please take lots of photos, and if you have any mug rugs or other fun things left afterwards, bring some back for us to buy--

Bon Voyage!!

Yes, this is a good day to stay indoors. I love the heat, but this is extreme. This is another good day to work on a quilt or enjoy company. Thanks to all the people that serve our country.
