From the archives.......

My program last night at the library went well.  I have a lot of quilts to put away but that will have to wait until I get home from the QOV sew-in today in Batavia and visiting my dad.   Since I didn't sew anything yesterday I scanned these 2 photos from 1992 to show to you.  I know I made the top one for a challenge in the bee I belonged to.  I think the one on the bottom was made to use the leftover blocks.  I guess you could call this a deconstructed pinwheel because only a few blocks have all of the pieces.  The rest are using just portions of the block.  I gave the top one to my daughter-in-law because she loves black and white and I sold the bottom one.

The program did go very well last night. Your did a great job of sharing with non-quilting wannabes and those of us with experience. I never get enough of seeing your quilts up close and personal!

Fun to read the responses from those that attended your program. Must say I am jealous of those that live close enough to enjoy your presentation.

Black 'n whites are always a treat to see. I am glad you took photo's of them before giving away.

What a treat it must have been for those attending your program to see your gorgeous quilts in person!
I love the black and white quilt -- it's so striking!

Wow Wanda
I am impressed that you have photos of past work and know which year you finished them. Either an excellent memory or super organized (or a little of both).

Neat blocks; I have to say when I see an all black and white quilt it feels disorienting (hey, who turned off the color?)
Enjoy the great fall weather!

It sounds like it was a wonderful program by the comments of quilters who went! I enjoy seeing your older quilts and the black and white one is very striking.

I'm glad your presentation went well. Putting away after these things can be a pain, can't it? I've just realised I haven't unpacked my bag from last weekend's workshop at Camp!
