I needed to finish the little neckbands on the extra small preemie gowns yesterday so they would be ready to take to sewing circle at church today. One of the ladies will thread ribbon through the ribbing so the neckline is adjustable on the preemies.
I had 20 neckbands to do and I also washed 2 more 3 yard pieces of flannel to cut out other sizes of gowns at our workshop.
Chippy was out back yesterday so I captured a sequence of photos of him. 
One of the squirrels opens the lid on this feeder. It has chewed off one of the tabs that should help hold the lid in place.
He sat on the pole for almost 5 minutes before he was ready to eat.
He filled his little cheeks for about another 5 minutes and then ran down the pole and disappeared.I will try to get a tutorial on module quilts ready for tomorrow. There are 2 different types, one that deals with math and the other where you just fit pieces as you go in more random sizes.

I love the little premmie jackets. How kind of you and the ladies at your church to do this.
My YG was not premmie but he did spend some time in the special care unit where he was given a knitted hat. It reminded DD and I why we knit and quilt for others!
There is nothing more fun than to watch nature in action. And these little guys are just too cute, as long as they stay outside!!

I have a bird feeder the same as yours and had to wind wire round the top to help keep it shut. They would put their paws done and still reach the seed whilst it was full.
Lithium grease from a car maintenance shop does the job on the pole, they slide down it. It needs replacing every 3 months or so...
I have a neighbor who makes the preemie gowns with a group of ladies from her church. Yours are so sweet, and the chipmunk - too cute! Chip and Dale cartoons were some of our girls favorites, so these have a soft spot in my heart. Even if they are stealing your bird seed!

I have many chipmunks in my yard. They have tunnels under all the sidewalks and it is causing the sidewalk to crack as there is no support under them. The chipmunks love to sit under my feeder and eat all the scraps. They fortunately cannot get into my feeder as it is hanging off of the eave. No sewing done today. I like your first modular quilt.
I love that flannel quilt -- the stars, the coziness of the batting, that wonderful backing! we're in for a snow storm today, perfect for snuggling under a quilt like that!
