I sold a kit for a Kaffe Fassett fabric Trip Around the World to one of the art quilters in November. It is king size. I think it turned out great.
This is the photo I posted back in November when I just finished cutting the kit.
After standing all day I was way too tired to get into a big project so I sewed one more round on the log cabin blocks. I have several blocks leftover from the 2 quilts I made last year so I am making more to go with them.
I always give the art quilters first chance to purchase my journal covers and totes, and these are the ones leftover if anyone is interested in purchasing one. The spiral notebooks are the 5" x 7" size. I will list them on my Wandaful blog unless I sell them before I have time to do that. email me with the link on my right sidebar if you want more information.

Looks like you had a good day. The king size quilt is really beautiful. chris
Oh I just love the Kaffe Trip Around the World. Gorgeous!!
What a beautiful quilt tha Kaffe Fassett one is - and what a heap of work to cut it all! Your totes are so lovely...you are very clever - I really cant make bags well at all:( Off to do some sewing while I can
The Quilt is lovely. It is so nice to see the quilt and the kit picture together.
Beautiful TATW! :)
The Trip Around the World quilt is just gorgeous. The color selection is perfection. You did a great job picking out the colors and making the kit.
Wanda,
You have always been my hero when it comes to color contrast. You have the best eye for selecting value that I have ever seen. This quilt demonstrates that quality.
Beautiful quilt, log cabin squares, tote, notebooks, everything. Love all your fabric choices. You are an artist. Quilt on ....
Wanda! Not sure I could afford it, but do you have a kit, or could you make one up, for a Trip Around the World similar to your green/cream one with the peacocks that I simply adore??? Just a thought - if I'm nuts, you can tell me so, I can take it!
I love the Trip Around the World. The colors and I love how it just lights up. The values and colors that you put together are wonderful. It's also great that the person who received the kit finished the quilt!

Did you save me a journal cover? I love love love that one with the orange-y spine in your post photo today.
What a beautiful quilt it turned out to be, but then again - how could it not be with all those gorgeous fabrics?
That is a stunning quilt! Love how the centre glows.
If you enlarge your journal covers to fit Nooks or Kindles.... they would probably sell like hotcakes!
All the projects are fantastic. You do such beautiful work. I enjoy seeing your projects daily.
Your totes are great, I knew I should have checked in earlier today. I checked 'Wandaful' before I wrote this, so I am assuming they are gone !
Enjoyed catching up on all your posts since I last checked in.

Hi Wanda,
Wow, that quilt sewn from your hand-picked kit just glows.
And your fun strip piecing yesterday looks like it easily could turn into a journal cover or two!

The kitted Kaffe quilt turned out so pretty! His fabs are just luminous (I may be a bit biased on this). The quilter did a great job piecing it, and as usual Wanda, your fabric choices were awesome. I also love the totes you have been doing and the journal covers. Thanks for all the pics! Inspiration!
