Taste test session

Sorry about the angle of this photo.  I was in a hurry to document the damage we did to the tin of bon bons.  I cut each kind into several pieces and then each member of the family chose which ones they wanted to sample.  Even my 97 year old dad liked them.
Here is what remains and I guess...sigh...I'll have to eat the rest myself.  I keep the little cheat card near by so I can tell which is which.

The family had asked what I wanted for Christmas and I told them I liked the zebra dishware at Pier 1 Imports.  I had purchased the dinner plates and they got me the salad plates and soup bowls.  They are so pretty!  I have a little bit of zebra in every room of my house so they fit right in.

December 28th is national Chocolate Day - no joke ... so for you some chocolate wisdom:

The 12-step chocoholics program: NEVER BE MORE THAN 12 STEPS AWAY FROM CHOCOLATE!

Man cannot live on chocolate alone; but woman sure can.

If it ain't chocolate, it ain't breakfast!

There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE

and my fav :
This guy found a bottle on the ocean, and he opened it and out popped a genie, and he gave him three wishes. The guy wished for a million dollars, and poof! there was a million dollars. Then he wished for a convertible, and poof! there was a convertible. And then, he wished he could be irresistible to all women... poof! he turned into a box of chocolates.

Happy week !

Those chocolates must have been irresistable, even the wrappings look lucious! Lucky you, having to eat the "leftovers!"

Wow! Look at that! Even the wrappers of your chocolates are in exuberant colours! I love the zebra dinnerware. Oh, by the way, if you need help with those chocolates, just let me know.

The zebra plates are very pretty. And somehow I think you're going to manage to polish off those bon-bons without ANY trouble! :-)

I've never seen zebra plates. How neat! And the bonbons.....we won't go there. Got to lose some weight.

Hubby and I just spent an hour or so in Pier 1 last week.
However, I didn't notice any Zebra ware.
Looks like another walk-through is in order. :^)

Hugs,
Gerry

I like your new dinnerware. It looks like navy blue in the picture, is it blue or black?
