Are you tired of seeing these............

Just finishing up the ones I showed yesterday.

Opened up so you can see the quilting.

This batik went from medium blue to dark blue and has a splatter paint look to it.

Most of the dark blue is on the inside flaps.

I am going to be teaching a Trip Around the World class at Quilter's Heart quilt shop here in Sandwich, IL on 2 Fridays in January and a second session on 2 Saturdays in Feb.  One of my students came over to my house so I could help her with the order of the fabrics from light to dark and back to light again.  I want my students to call me ahead of the class so I can help them with their fabric selection.  That way we can get right into the sewing at the first class.

I love the idea of arranging fabrics from light to dark and back. I hope to learn more about this quilt from your blog since I cannot attend the class in person.

I´m a beginner, live quite far away and learn a lot here with you. Tks.

I love seeing your journals because they spark my ideas for more covers too.

I like the color combination you use on the cover in the first one - just love the colors.
That is a good idea to try to get the class moving so you can start out working and the colors will all be picked in advance..

No, I am not tired of looking at journal covers! They are one of my favorite projects that you do!

I've promised myself to make a few after we get back from our Christmas road trip. (Family here, there, and everywhere...)

I sewed a fabric wallet for each of two nieces, and plan to make a couple of catnip bags (seriously simple!) before we leave on Monday. But mostly I have been writing 170 Christmas cards. (About 20 more to go. Whew!)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Wanda! I have gotten enormous enjoyment from your blog, which I discovered this year.

What a great teacher you are, to take personal time to help students make the right fabric choices so their quilts will be wonderful, not "I wish I'd chosen something different"!

Hi Wanda,
I have to say I never tire of any of your projects. Seeing your color choices helps me expand mine way beyond matchy-matchy (which is where I used to be). Thanks.

p.s. They're really downplaying the lake effect snow here, "only" 1-3 inches this go-round. Keep warm!

Wanda, I have to say, along with everyone else, that I never tire of seeing whatever you'd like to show us. You are an inspiration to me. And one of these days, I hope to have even a little bit of your color mastery.

I definitely don't tire of seeing your journal covers. I wish I could save color copies of all of them to spark my own UNcreative mind. They're just beautiful.

You surely have a wonderful selection of Journal covers to sell. Each one is a mini quilt in itself.

Last minute shopping trips and commitments with friends keep my days moving right up until Christmas and it is always a treat to set down and see all that you have created.

I love looking at stuff and it does not matter at all about repeating. Your first journal. I just love the color combination. So bright and cheerful. Just what is needed.

I love your journal covers.
Isn't it a great way to
create little art pieces
AND
use up fabric scraps
that results in a great gift.
Happy Holiday Hugs
