More of nature's beauty..........

Even the Milkweed plants turned color this year.  I think they were more of a brown the last few years when they died.

I don't know why I didn't notice my south neighbor's tree and bush before.  His Burning Bush is a different variety than mine and wasn't affected by whatever killed most of my bush a couple years ago.

This photo was taken as it was starting to get dark and the color was just brilliant.

The painter is going to come today or tomorrow to start painting my window trim and doors.  I was back out digging out tree roots and cutting down some more vegetation.  I have one tiny spot yet to do and forgot about it until it was dark.

The Penstemon leaves turned several colors this year.  I remember them doing this one other year.

Here is a closer look, such variety.

What amazing colours those trees are at this time of year - you are surrounded by beauty every day! Your block from yesterday is a great match. Hope your painter turns up and does a good job :)

I always like the colors of fall - some trees in our area turn very early and others very late, it is always fun to watch the transition

Oh what a glorious tree (actually several of the ones you've shared). Mother Nature sure knows how to inspire us.

It seems this fall, Exuberant Color doesn't just refer to your quilts! Those trees are gorgeous. Our burning bushes got mostly winter-killed last year, I still need to finish them off and replace with something else. The line where they are considered invasive species keeps creeping closer to us.

re: More Colors Inside and Out ~ 10-11-20 That was one grand post. So enjoyed seeing your trees and the quilts that companioned with them. Just beautiful

Todays foliage reflects the grandeur from midwest in all its glory. You see color in your garden plants we ignore most of the time.
