I did some more cutting for batik colorwash kits and then watched Netfix and sewed five more blocks for the current project. I need to trim the corners and then I can get them up on the design wall. This makes 9 blocks and I was hoping to do 12. That means searching one more time through my big prints.
I finally had to turn on the heat in my house on Wednesday. It was only in the 50s yesterday. Now it is going to warm up for the weekend through Tuesday to the 70s and then drop down again. The trees are changing color too.

I get audio books when I am cutting and sewing. My bleeding fingers were an indication that I shouldn't watch and cut -
Love the colors of your blocks. I'm trying to get bolder with my color choices.
Once again, thank you for a wonderful blog.
the last several days were very chilly here as well - high yesterday was 59 and that was the temperature for almost all days as well and starting today out the same way - but a warm up here for the weekend as well. I have not had to turn the heat on yet though and still sleeping with the bedroom window open a little bit.
Dig deep and find those prints! I am not ready to turn the heat on in the house yet. After a long walk yesterday evening the house was plenty warm. It is a bit cool sitting in the construction trailer at work.
Such wonderful combinations!
Those are such great fabrics. Are they all batiks?
These blocks are so pretty ♥
We have the heat on at our place today - and it's supposed to be Spring! So, only three more blocks to go, I'm looking forward to finished up the cutting for mine.
