I spent a large part of yesterday going through stuff and pitching some, recycling some. When I made it to the basement I put in a load of laundry and then started looking for a certain red fabric to make 4 patches to try at the corners. I couldn't find it but found the purple with red flowers on the top right corner. Then I cut a square of the same purple used as a corner block on an inner red border and put it on the bottom right. This might be the lazy way out but I like the one on the top right corner.
I got some goodies in the mail yesterday. They are the spring Kaffe collective. I know those are black and white swirls in that print but it looks like zebra to me so I had to have it. This was from a 20% off pre-order sale.
This is the last bloom on the peach/orange cactus. I'm hoping for one more plant to bloom. It usually waits until April every year.

Fascinating choices! The latest two, on the right, seem to block the movement of the bearpaws and borders, while the two on the left carry it out. So I still prefer either one of them. Do you have any additional fabric of that purple last solid border? A solid block of that would project that border out...
Either one of the top two looks great.
Love the color of the bloom.
I prefer the solid block...upper corner seems to tie everything together. Your instinct is the best thing to follow :)
Any of the corners are fine- you will make a good choice. Love the Japanese maple leaves on the Kaffe. I have 2 in my yard that are, alas, covered in icy snow. Last weekend we went to Plantasia, an outdoor gardening show inside and they had a number of Japanese maples in leaf and arranged in garden setups. Was just so invigorating to see.
Beautiful new fabrics -- and I agree that the print you pulled for the top right corner works very well.
I like the top right corner fabric pretty well, but I think the bear paw block would work better as it carries the bear paws from the center outward to the corner. I do think it needs to be made with colors that coordinate with the border more- maybe a "reddish" bear paw with a "lavender/purple "ish" background. (or vice versa)
From a distance, I prefer the bottom right because it really seems to set things off nicely. Close up I think the fabric is a little nebbish. Did you try the inner border fabric?
I think I have a couple of purples that might work. How big are those corner blocks?
I like the upper right fabric. It brings the red and purple theme together perfectly! It is not be lazy because it works!
I like the fabric in the top right best of all the choices.
Top right corner is my vote :-)
The bear paw is far and away the most bold and striking. The others are, IMHO, too matchy-matchy, blendy-blendy. If this is the final border, the bear paw is a most fitting corner. But I'm not opinionated or anything, LOL!!!
I always love the bear paw pattern - it is on my "to-do" list.
Your blog title fits your creations to a T!

Yes, upper right!
I too LOVE the top right corner... It adds the perfect pizazz to your awesome piece !
I am always bragging about you and your awesome talent and my friend who lives in Sisters, Oregon, rents out a studio apt. to a quilter. Have you ever heard of Kathy Miller, from Sisters, Oregon ? My friend says she is renown in Sisters. Some day I hope to make it over to Sisters for their huge community quilt show.

I will defer to your judgement on those corner blocks. I also bought some spring Kaffe Fasset fabric on Craftsy at a huge discount. Such pretty fabric, not as bold as yours.
Definitely the print in the upper right - looks just perfect!
Lovely red fabrics.
Pretty, pretty Kaffe fabric, but then all of his is pretty. The black and white does look a little like zebra.
