Red and purple..........

Now that the season of re-runs has started on TV I wanted to watch some Netflix shows.  I like a nice easy project to sew while I'm watching so I'm doing another 16 patch, this time all red and purple.  I pulled strips from my stash of 2.5" strips shown here.
I finished sewing 26 pairs last night.  That will make 52 eight inch blocks.  I will sew another batch tonight and then start making the 16 patch blocks.

I love purples and blues - I shall be watching how this new project comes along with great interest as I have a 16 patch block on my 'to do' list. Enjoy the rest of your day :)

Love those wonderful reds and purples. This is going to make a fabulous quilt!

Great fabric! The pairs look very interesting- the blocks will be great- all those little squares nestled next to each other. The 16 patch is simple in theory, but you always make it elegant!

Glowing colours, and what a great idea to have the strips already cut and in colours all neatly packed away, ready for today. This will be another beauty.

I love the fabrics you have chosen. I can't wait to see the finished top. (No pressure)
