One finished, one decision made................

Wonky Rainbow is done, binding and hanging sleeve sewn down.  It is hanging on a slanted wall so the bottom isn't really narrower than the top.  I'll probably try for a better photo on a different design wall.  It is about 40" x 41".

This is what I put on the back.  I thought it went nicely with the outside border fabric.

I played with the order of the red/purple blocks and I'm ready to sew it together now.  Some of the higher contrast areas really aren't that noticeable in real life.  The camera has a hard time getting the red right.

Great backing for the wonky! It is so much fun and it goes with the mood of the front and color.
Reds are really calling attention to the composition. Could you imagine this as a mosaic?

Love the Wonky Rainbow. Is this all batiks or a mix of batiks and other fabrics?

The wonky rainbow turned out lovely and that backing fabric is great! The red and purple top looks more balanced now and will make a wonderful quilt!

Love your wonky quilt, the fabrics are just wonderful. The red and purple quilt is coming along really good too, are your putting a border on it ?

I'm always amazed to watch the 'organizing of blocks' process. When you come to the final placement my thought is, "Of course, this is right". It makes me smile. You are so very good at what you do. :)

I agree with what Sue said - couldn't have put it better myself :)
I'm not a green fan but the way you put those 4 green rows together, with the rest of the colour order, well, you did it again - wonderful!!

It's getting colder here now but still mild for December - stay warm and enjoy your weekend :)
