As usual I left my finishing until the end of the month but I met my goal of having 2 finished. The flannel quilt is a couch quilt and the Trip Around the World is a twin size, about 75.5" x 99".
I finished two quilt tops in June, both full of luscious summer colors.
I'm still knitting dishcloths because it is so calming, easy to pick up and do a little on between other things.
I'm going to look on the bright side for 2015 - instead of dwelling on the half that is gone I'll look at the opportunities that are ahead in the second half of the year. I hope I can finish 18 more quilts to match the 18 finished in the first half of the year. Of course I want to start a dozen too (or more!).

Wanda, You make me laugh. We all want to start new ones. I have dozens floating around in my head. LOL You made a great effort and did get many done. Good for you. Chris
Always love seeing your end of the month with the finished quilts and tops. Wonderful colorful...great eye candy. Thanks.
Whenever you start new projects, your readers benefit from watching your process. Whenever you finish a project, your readers benefit from the inspiration and eye candy. We'll be cheering you on!
so you have any idea how many quilts you have waiting to be quilted? good luck in your challenge to yourself to get things done.
That is a very large goal you have set for yourself but I know that you can do it. Yep, always have to have more projects to work on. My motto is I can't go until I get all the projects done and it looks as if I will be around for a long time. lol Enjoy the cool weather.
You have done very well for 2015! For June I only had one finish which was that wedding quilt. I had one start - my niece's t-shirt quilt. I am ok with what I have accomplished in June. I will have to focus hard to get things done in July as I am obsessed with watching the Tour de France and my nephew has several gigs.
You said the one quilt was a twin size and thatsize is about what I put on my queen bed. I put them over a white damask cover and fold them up each night, no one sits on them. I have utility quilts for sleeping under. They are older ones that I rescued. Your finished quilts for June are beautiful but those other two tops are just fabulous.
Beautiful quilt and quilt top finishes. LOVE those dishcloths. I keep my knitting beside me, too.
I continue to work through unfinished projects, too. And occasionally I add something new that I'm not allowing to become a UFOs.
Wonderful finishes of both quilts and tops. Inspiring that you have 18 finishes in 6 months. I assume some were well along the way to finish but it still is remarkable. Congratulations.
I want to be like you...but I sit here eating chocolate and not concentrating on much. I say to myself, just sew two strips together...but I do not...then I see how many you have finished and I say...get a grip Diane. great job Wanda
I like that attitude.....6 more months of fun!!! YES!!!! You've had a great year so far.
I believe how much you get done each day. It's like when I watch hoarders and say my house is clean compared to those, I think I will never get that much done. haha. You are inspiring. And I also want to add I love those knitted dishclothes. Even though I don't knit, I buy them when our guild has there semi annual show. Somebody always donates them. Thanks again for you inspiration.
Lorrie
Wanda, you are certainly quite productive as it is. You remind me of my grandmother that way. She just loved to be doing something and so do you. Enjoy your accomplishments, as we all do. :)
Thanks Wanda for your' June recap' just wondrous ! Love seeing your monthly designs more than ever these busy days...
