I had just two seams left to sew in the Double 4 patch by the time I went to bed last night. I should have a photo of the finished top tomorrow. I also sewed the last 16 blocks for my One Block Wonder which I will be starting a layout on today.
This is my potted Dahlia plant. I was going to put it in the ground but ended up putting it in a pot with some Periwinkle Vinca vines from my garden.
The hanging pots in the backyard are happy. We got .86" of rain by 9:45 p.m. last night and more to happen overnight so I won't need to water them for awhile.

Beautiful plants. Can't wait to see the sewn quilt and the arrangement of OBW. I also did sewing yesterday and have no photos to show for it.
Pretty, pretty! We do love our flowers, don't we? We have a little overhang in the front that allows some potted plants to survive the heat, and the patio in the back is a happy home to some, too. But hanging baskets here will never be as pretty as yours. Just too hot!
Your flowers are so pretty, love all of them.
Talking about one block wonders, wouldn't that dahlia picture make a phenomenal material to use in a quilt?
