Sewn together......

I finished sewing all of the cross seams yesterday and I'm happy with this newest colorwash.  I have to decide if the proportion is right or if I need to add a couple rows to the top.  I'll let it hang on the design wall for a couple days and work on some other projects.
The other color balloon flowers are blooming now.  They were pink in the original plants but now they are mostly white with the pink veins.  It was 101 degrees yesterday at 1 p.m. and the cold front came through around 6 and it was 74 when I went to bed.  We didn't get any rain with the front passing though.  I moved all of my pots back outside and watered them last night.  It won't be back above 90 until the end of the week if the weathermen are right.
This little aster is in one of my pots and it is one of the half price plants from the hardware store a couple weeks ago.  Some of them are white with just a bare tint of lavender and others are deeper toned like this one.  Quite a few haven't bloomed yet and the tag said 'mixed' so I'm wondering if there will be some other colors.

70*F here this morning compared to the 104*F we had yesterday. I will be glad to open the windows and doors for awhile today. The colorwash is beautiful. Chris

The color wash and the flowers look great.
We are expecting a slight decline in temp, but it will still be warm here today.

the bottom right and left are a little rounded, and the light part comes to a point at the top, gives the impression of an upside-down heart, or a pothos-shaped leaf. ... or maybe an anchor. very soothing somehow.

the cold front is supposed to make it down here as well although we are to be in the high 80's to mid 90's and have rain chances - I sure hope we get some.
Love the colorwash!

It's raining here -- we are SO SO SO grateful. Temp is only in the low 90s instead of 106+

Your colorwash quilts are incredible - each and every one of them.

Awesome colorwash, Wanda. I love it! Colors blend so wonderfully. I never tire of watching you put these pieces of art together.
Difficult to understand how the flowers could have survived the terrible heat.

I love your color wash quilt , I have one almost like it that I made a few years ago, I made it into a Art quilt of outer space.
I have plans to make another color wash but some different. I love the way you used the colors

The quilt is looking really good.

We are having a warm spell. It reached 18*C (65*F) yesterday and feels about the same today. The bright blue sky is the best part though!
