Break time...........

I needed a break from cutting so I sewed some more blocks for this quilt.  I was thinking oh how boring as I'm putting pieces up on the wall but when I looked at it through the camera I like it.  I'm trying to place the values so it looks like a folded strip, kind of 3-D.  I don't have enough of the right value changes cut yet so I pulled a bunch more fabrics to cut into triangles today.

of Miss Wanda, I love the dots with the Kaffe They highlight the beautiful colors but control a wee bit the wildness of the prints. ! What a terrific combination. I just love this quilt in process.

Wanda, I commented on the other blog too. I'd really like to use PayPal. If that's not possible I'll send a check. I don't know if my email is embedded but it is susan dot turney at yahoo dot com

This mockup of yours just caused me to spend a fun half hour on EQ5 playing with this idea of shading the zigzag. I wound up shading the background too (darker with darker, lighter with lighter), and it makes the quilt look 3D/wavy. Fun.....thanks for the entertainment and ideas.

Beautiful KF fabrics. Polka dots and gray fabrics are the rage now. Beautiful zigzag pattern.
