I had to take a break from the vacuuming and dusting to sew a few fun blocks.
I sewed some more of the curved blocks too and realized I had hung the finished top half of the quilt upside down on the design wall (in yesterday's photo).
I sewed the mini Turning Twenty blocks together too so I could take it off the design wall. My friends who are coming today may need the design walls.

Sometimes you just have to take a break from the housework and have fun! Mission accomplished.
I like your fun blocks. The one at top right looks as if you're looking at a red door through a leaf-covered window - fun!

I like to take breaks in the housework to do some sewing... or vice versa... love all your fun blocks and totally see that "red door thru a leafy window" thing!!!
A productive break from cleaning??? Enjoy your group today.
Hi Wanda,
Love your fun blocks, especially the one upper right corner (so full of illusion).
Also your turning 20 blocks are fantastic in color. Are you ever tempted to turn a pieced top into clothing (i.e. a jacket, tunic or vest?) That one looks like Chico colors to me.

I need to do some vacuuming and dusting but sewing is winning lately. Also picked a bouquet of Lily of the Valley. That too is very important. You have some wonderful pieces of fabric.
Really great colours in both of these, Wanda! No surprise that batiks outnumber prints 5 to 1 in my stash! Yours too, I guess!
