I finished the 2 half blocks and made a bunch more.
The last 6 that I made last night. I now have 44 blocks made so I will be switching them over to a double design wall now.
At the finishing class Student C finished her quilt that she worked on last month. I had cut the kits for this quilt when I was still working. The batik line had a brochure that came with it with the directions and I had made the store sample. I realized I don't have a photo of the one I made so I need to take my camera back down there some day and take one.
Student S finished the one she was working on last time too. She had purchased a kit somewhere when she first got into quilting and this isn't her color and fabric preference any more. It is going to be either a baby quilt or a table cover.
I worked on a new quilt but I haven't pressed the blocks yet so maybe tomorrow I'll have a photo.

Can't wait to see you Winding Ways up on the wall! Love that when you make this quilt you get a positive and negative block. Great use of the fabric! I love the bright batiks in your student's quilt. Looks like a crazy quilt. Do you know the pattern name? Possibly it is a Stack the Deck?
I will be glad to to see this quilt on the wall, I know your color arrangement is always great.

I just never want to miss a day of looking at your blog, Wanda. It makes my head swirl with ideas. As usual, thank you!
Your Winding Ways has me waiting with great curiosity.
Both students C and S can be proud of their pieces. Student C ~ takes my breath away with design and brilliant batiks. Student S ~ may have grown out of her color combination, but is very impressive.
Your students are so fortunate to be taking a class from you.

Your blocks are looking SO good! I got to see some of the Kaffe quilts in person yesterday at Quilt Festival. I'm still turning them over in my mind - so beautiful and vibrant!

i am looking forward to seeing your winding ways blocks up on the design wall!!
I love Student C's quilt, too! Any ideas on pattern name or where it can be found? That is really interesting, but looks like a fairly simple paper-pieced project with some great color design ideas. I'd love to have the pattern.
Love the vibrant colors Student C selected for her top. Very talented people.
Really like all the colors you use in your quilts. I am loving the winding ways quilts. This is one pattern I am looking forward to making, so, following your progress is inspiring. And, student C's quilt, LOVE IT.
