African quilt......

Here are the green strips that I am auditioning for another section of the piano key border.

The top looks a lot neater now that it is sewn together.  I will cut sections of the strip sets (see yesterday's post) and figure out the order they will be sewn together today.

Yesterday none of my comments were forwarded to my email.  Did anyone else have that problem?  Is Blogger playing with us again?

Yes, Wanda, I had the same situation starting on Saturday. Wasn't yesterday a beautiful fall day?

Nothing 'Note' worthy here tho!!!

I love the collection of green strips all together like that. I think they will all make great "piano keys"

This quilt is looking good. Like the look of the zebra print repetition in block and sashing.

Well, I still love the blocks and how you held it together with the black ad zebra fabric!

Blogger is suddenly telling me that my email can't be delivered - their problem not mine because I didn't change anything - unless it was a Microsoft update that I did on Saturday.

Wanda, as I am not a Blogger, I don't have that problem, but I have not received your newsletter for the past 3 days and have had to access it on my own. Something spooky is afoot, and I don't think it's Halloween.

I agree with Linda who said the zebra fabric is perfect and your border is going to be smashing! You have such an eye for color!

As always, I love your work and colour choices - it's a pleasure to read your mail every day, including your garden plants :)

I love the look of this quilt. The use of the same zebra print throughout ties it all together nicely. As for the comment deal...I'm not a blogger, but virtually all the comments I post are getting kicked back to me now saying "failure to deliver" although my comments are appearing in the posts...just not going to the bloggers' emails. Started a few months back and now it's getting worse.

Superbly stunning Wanda, and the border will only add to all that. Again, your eye for the right colours show us all how magical a quilt can be. Jean.

Stunning green strips... This piece has been fun to watch progress. Gets better by the day.

Blogger issue is no laughing matter. Even though I do not have a site I can sympathize with all that are experiencing issues.

What a great way to use those African prints! However, you always seem to know just what to do with any style fabric you use!!

Yet another stunner from you Wanda! Thanks for all of the inspiration! And, thanks for all of the info you shared with me! I should be getting a new toy to play with before long!
