Thank you to all of my readers............

Thank you so much for all of the happy birthday wishes and other kind comments.  I appreciate the time you take to comment on my blog.  I had a wonderful day with family and got to see where my college age granddaughter lives.
Last night I took the last Winding Ways blocks that I created down to the design wall and mixed them into the other blocks.  I think this is the final layout but I'll look at it a few more times before I make the final decision.

I had more of the blocks cut for this quilt (scroll down to second quilt) so I sewed them too while I watched CSI Miami.  As soon as Winding Ways comes off the big wall this quilt will be put up there.

Today I have another birthday lunch with my friend who is 10 days older than me.  Then I think I'm done birthday lunching.

The impact of the design wall is evident. You have a great layout and this looks like it is working well with the blocks as they are. Nice to be able to see the grands and enjoy your day today. Chris

Happy belated birthday Wanda!! I was out of town. My mom always managed to celebrate her birthday with a whole month of lunches and outings. Happy to see you doing that too! Love Winding ways....the wheels move while you are looking at it. Did you say that you had them cut for you? Thanks for all the sharing. Gail Norback

I'm glad you had a nice birthday! It is so nice to be remembered on our special day.
I love the winding ways! It is beautiful! The only problem is it makes me want to make one also, and I don't have a Go to cut it on. Oh well I will have to figure something out.
Have another good birthday lunch!

sorry I missed your birthday! the winding ways blocks are fabulous, and I admire your patience, perseverance and technical skill in getting them to look so good -- I've only made a few and I did not like the process...

Happy Birthday Wanda!
Love your WW. It is going to be a stunning quilt. And you are already going great guns on the next! I guess that would keep you from getting bored with one.

Hi Wanda,
Hope you had a great day!
I can see the circles in the winding ways quilt blocks better if I enlarge the photo. Seems like it would work the other way around (maybe I'm backwards).
Does everyone declare the age when they are ageless? I have a friend who is timeless, and another who declares herself like aged wine.

Oh, Happy Belated Birthday!

Yay for Winding Ways. I still love the green in there. Question though. It may just be the lighting/ shadow, but the top left corner block is quite dark and sticks out placed as it is in the corner.
