Sewn, not pressed..........................

The top half of the quilt is folded up so I would have room to design the bottom half.  The blocks on the bottom aren't sewn in this photo.  I changed one because I had a light block where a dark block was supposed to go.

I finished sewing the top at 10 last night and even though the last seams haven't been pressed, I wanted to check it out and make sure I didn't have any blocks turned wrong.  Now seeing the photo I can see I have one dark block where a light one should be.  I'm not sure I'll change it.

These are the 4 leftover blocks.

The second flower has opened, one more to go.  There is also another bud stalk growing so I have hopes of more blooms.

I chose a binding fabric for the quilt I trimmed.  I need to press it today so I can cut the strips.

Beautiful opened flower, Wanda!! Aren't they just a joy to look at during these cold cold days?;)))
You've gotten a lot done on this piece; it is coming together so nicely...I don't think I even see that errant block????
1 degree here this morning an hour ago and now up to a rousing 3!! This is supposed to be our coldest day.
I have all my jelly rolls and JR leftovers out on my ironing board--planning one 16 patch and one potato chip block piece...Will be trying out some of the leftovers for a small scrappy 16 patch pairing the 30's fabrics...we shall see....
Happy Weekend;))) Hugs, Julierose

Your amaryllis flowers look so delicate with their pink edges. The blocks look wonderful and I had to look for a minute to find the block you replaced, lol.

what a narrow tinge of red on the edges of the bloom how pretty! I don't care for pressing I always feel like my room gets so hot just from a little time the iron is on.

At first glance I see an ‘Argyle’ pattern , next came lots of diamond patterns….a true beauty from your studios again. And your Amaryllis is so elegant, I’m happy to see both blossoms.
