The machine ditch quilting is done on this flannel baby quilt now. The squares are 4" and that is the recommended maximum space with Hobbs 80/20 batting.
The backing is a cute diagonal plaid. I haven't decided on binding yet but will look for it today.
It's going to be cold over the weekend so I'm glad I don't have anywhere to go.

It's a cold weekend here for us too. Though, I'm certain it's much colder for you.
What a sweet little quilt - lucky baby.
A finish on the (cold) horizon! I have to bundle up and go out to a memorial service.
Thinking about all the Bears fans who are determined to be at the game tomorrow....
Cute pink/gray finish, QDJulie;))) Nice quilting job on this one...
Cold to come here they say--right now 34 which is pretty normal for our Januarys. Hugs, Julierose
Backing is perfect for this pink and gray baby quilt. And so is your quilting .
What a charming little baby quilt and it will delight some parents when it keeps their bundle of joy warm!
My mother always liked pairing pink and gray in her winter clothes and even her earrings so I'm reminded of her.
We're having a heat wave with today's high 50*F but the nights are all below freezing. Brrrrr!
Hugs!
An oh so cozy quilt. I have all kinds of flannel scraps from the pillowcases I make as gifts. Maybe I need to just sew squares together.
it is only in the 30's here today and down to 17 tonight I hear maybe snow next week - maybe winter has finally arrived? That will make a good baby quilt won't it
