This quilt was made from a couple trays of plaid squares that were cut several years ago. I made 16 patch blocks and then went to the design wall for the layout. It is 39" x 47". It has Hobbs 80/20 batting in it and was quilted on my Pfaff.
I had this cute farm print fabric that is on the back in my stash. The binding is a yarn dyed woven stripe.
I think the binding looks good with the fabrics on both sides of the quilt.
I had a dishcloth near a finish so I worked on it last night. I ran out of the yarn with 7 stitches left. I tied on the white yarn in the corner to finish the last 3 rows. I'm down to 12 dishcloths now after gifting several for Christmas.

Lovely finish; cute backing to go along with those plaids;)))
We are up to 44 degrees with some raining here this morning...
and we are slated to get cold once again overnight. Strange up and down weather lately...hugs, Julierose
plaid-tastic!
I know you must feel good about finally putting that fabric to use and some baby will love it!
Since you used white yarn for the last of the dishcloth, it blends right in.
What an adorable plaid baby quilt and that binding is perfect! Love a good stash!!
You make me wish my hands would play together nicely so I could knit and crochet.
Off to the library to return books, to pick up a requested book and to turn in our early ballots. Cannot miss an election!
Hugs!

Happy New Year!

no. 7 for December sure is a winner ! I’ve never seen such a variety number of wonderful flannel plaids . And the backing couldn’t be any better.
Adding some white yarn to finish off 7 stitches of your dish cloth takes a good patient knitter to do that.
