I wasn't sure this one was going to bloom. It was a bud for more than 3 weeks. This pot is on my kitchen windowsill, west exposure.
I did have one more thing to bake yesterday and then PT in the afternoon. Last night I finished the quilting on this flannel bullseye baby quilt. I'll get it trimmed today and look for binding. After I finished it I worked on the current dishcloth.
It was a cold day yesterday and 40 predicted today. Mid 50s and maybe closer to 60 predicted for Christmas day.

Nice finish on Baby's Bullseye flannel quilt, Wanda--your cactus looks sad, but bravely blooming still, ;)))). No blooms at all here...and no buds either--I think they preferred their former situation; maybe after I separate some out and repot, they will produce better...??? The one i gave my Granddaughter, Cassidy, is blooming profusely in orange/pinks. She is thrilled--a real plant lover...
28 here--boy-oh-boy--up and down go the temps these days--yesterday it was in the 50's!! Flu weather for sure...we've gotten our shots so should hopefully be okay...hugs, Julierose
About the same weather for us in western PA, just a day or two later. Those pieces look a little droopy so I can see why it took your bloom a lone time to open. I had a white bloom open yesterday and, boy, does the white show how brilliant pink the stamen is!
